These pages provide current museum documentation information, updating the resource guide developed by the Getty Information Institute (formerly the Getty Art History Information Program) and CIDOC, titled Developments in International Museum and Cultural Heritage Information Standards. Entries are based on recent publications (for source details about many of these publications, see the separate guide to Sources of information), information on MUSEUM-L, ICOM-L and other discussion lists and personal contact.
