A voice for CIDOC

At last year's Nuremburg conference, the Board invited a number of CIDOC members to meet to discuss the way forward for CIDOC in the burgeoning and diverse networked and information communities. Focussing on CIDOC's strengths, the opportunities presented and the challenges we face, the discussions resulted in a draft document, entitled "A Voice For CIDOC". In Melbourne we hope these discussions will take a step further with a short session where the ideas and issues raised last year will be presented to the conference during the Market of Ideas. It is hoped that, by agreeing CIDOC's priorities in a constantly evolving information environment, we will be able to direct resource to where they is most needed and help CIDOC serve its membership more effectively. Your views and opinions will be welcome!
