Abstract:
Last year, at the  CIDOC Annual Metting, in Nurnberg, the CIDOC Services WG
initiated a survey of its members, meant to gather more information about them
and their activities. The processed data showed one more time that CIDOC is an
illustration of the cultural diversity of this world, fact which is not always
so obvious (and it should be) when attending the CIDOC meetings. Among other
things, the survey pointed out that very many of its members don't know or know
very little about the whole range of CIDOC publications and activities. CIDOC
should stimulate more this diversity by taking the initiative and making efforts
to present know-how and share experiences in order to increase the interactivity
between people from the diverse cultures.
